#teachertalktuesday

What's that you say?  A hashtag?  I know!  Relax.  I'm not an expert yet, but I'm trying :)

I'm hoping that this will motivate me to take more/better pictures in my classroom.  I always seem to forget.

It even looks a little fancy and all.  A little.

Yes, this is our new read-aloud book.  It was a gift from a student {actually from twins...I teach both} from the book fair.  We voted today on our next book and this won!  I'm so glad it did.  I read this with Matthew (my son) last fall and we both loved it!

I started reading Wonder today and I've already cried.

You must read this book!

So, there you have it.  My first official #teachertalktuesday.

You can catch me on Instagram...yes, I have a few pictures up now:

See you there!

  6. We are reading "Wonder" as a read aloud right now too and I am really surprised at how much my students love it. We even made our own "Positive Precepts" board and the kids add inspirational quotes. Thanks for sharing!

  9. My fourth graders and I are reading Wonder. I like the idea of a Positive Precepts bulletin board. We could really focus on the positive this time of year.

  10. Hi Elizabeth! I've heard so many great things about the book Wonder. I need to purchase a copy to read to my students next school year. Thanks for sharing!! The Teacher Talk Tuesday motivated me to try Instagram. I'm now hooked and LOVE it! I had to have a little help getting started from my 12 year old. Enjoy the rest of your week!

  11. I wasn't sure about Instagram but decided I needed to try something new. I'm really glad I did!
I like seeing everyone's classrooms and the silly things people think of during the day... like the This Teacher Runs on Dunkin coffee cup I found. It feels more connected than just going to Pinterest.

I read Wonder in the fall... so did my daughter. Great book!
I was considering it as a read aloud in the Fall..... when we kick off our One Clip at a Time program which is our character ed. piece.
    Enjoy your weekend!
