Fabulous Find Friday~Week 2

Frame by The 3AM Teacher
Thanks, Storie, for helping me see (with my very bad eyes) my typo.  Fixed now :)

Do you have a most fabulous find this week? Grab the above picture and add it to your post when you link up.

(By the way, I worked for about an hour trying to make that a button so you could grab the html code and then gave up!  I tried the tutorial from The 3AM Teacher and I messed it up.  Does anyone know how to do this and can help me?)

I have two Fabulous Finds to show you.  One for school and one for home.  I'm hoping you don't mind two.

Now, last week, I threw a curve ball at you and offered my fabulous find as a giveaway the next day.  That winner will be announced tomorrow morning.  Sadly, that won't happen every single week, but it will occasionally.  So, it will be like a little surprise when it is :)

Is that mean?  I hope you don't think so....

Anyway, let me show you my finds.

This is a Xyron sticker maker.  I LOVE it.  I've had a few questions about how I "stuck" my labels on my toolbox.

Well, I just ran the little rectangles of paper through my Xyron sticker maker face down (so that the "sticky" would get on the pretty side and therefore "stick" to the inside of the toolbox drawers).

I love this machine.  You can get one for about $20 at Walmart and the refill sticker "stuff" is about $10.  I think it's 18 feet worth of sticker.  If you are careful about not wasting it (kinda like being careful about your lamination), it can last a pretty long time.  I use it for EVERYTHING that I need to glue down (and will fit through the machine).

OK, my home Fabulous Find:

I love this hand cream.  It comes from a company from Wilmington, NC.  My friend, who moved to Wilmington in February, gave me some of this last year when she was visiting the city before her move.  She went to the local Farmer's Market and found it there.  The company, Green Goddess Essentials, can be found {here}.  I love the hand cream so much that I have one can at school and one at home.  I love the smell of this cream.  Which says a lot because I'm highly sensitive to smells.  (I get headaches.)

OK, there you have it.  Consider linking up this week.  You can link up anytime during the week.

And, one last reminder about the giveaway from last week.

Click on the picture below or click {here}:

PS~I love these products and am not being paid to endorse either of them.

OK~ Now's your chance to link up...

  2. Smart idea about the xyron. I will have to dig mine out to do my drawers. I was wondering how I was going to get it to stick.

  3. I've never seen one of those stidker things before. I guess I'll have to check out my Walmart to see if they have one, I'm sure I could find lots of uses for it.

  5. I totally have a Xyron and have never used it. I am going to have to pull it out. The glue dots I used for my labels aren't holding very well.

  11. I just made my Grab My Button yesterday so I tried making one for you. What I saw was that it worked if I added it as a gadget in my side bar but it wouldn't let me add it to a blog post. Maybe your html was correct. If you want me to email one to you that works on your side bar to, let me know.

  13. Question about your Xyron sticker maker. I have one, but it looks much smaller than yours. I think you can only put in items that are 1.5" wide. How wide can the items be for your Xyron?

  14. Xyron and handcream? Of course they go together. Your hands just might get dry handling all that paper, so of course you need the handcream!! Love the sticker idea.
