Your tutorial was very easy to follow! Thank you again.Rachelhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01565409628840084466noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8943861818254304964.post-25391501074193962482012-04-22T13:40:52.541-04:002012-04-22T13:40:52.541-04:00Just found your blog....I was sucked in when I saw...Just found your blog....I was sucked in when I saw the words Pinterest and iPhone in the same post! Haha

Also, in response to Patrick's post...you can't really "meet" people in terms of messaging them and commenting on things. Pinterest doesn't notify you when you get comments on pins and even if you mention them (using @ sign like twitter and Facebook) it doesn't notify the person you mentioned. I think Pinterest is doing this all on purpose, as they want to keep the site as unique as they can and not have it overlap with Facebook and Twitter in terms of communication. If you are trying to connect with teachers through Pinterest, I have found the best way is through blogs first. Most teachers that have a blog and a Pinterest have a link for their Pinterest board on their blog. Then you can hopefully communicate with them through their blog! Does that answer your questions?

Sarah
The Eager Teacher Blog
Facebook
Twitter
PinterestSarah Eagerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05523678786814011565noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8943861818254304964.post-58666380223567990672012-04-18T15:24:17.492-04:002012-04-18T15:24:17.492-04:00Thanks for the post, Elizabeth.
So, I admit, I...Thanks for the post, Elizabeth.
So, I admit, I'm still a bit of a newbie when it comes to Pinterest. And you guys seem to know what you're talking about.
I'm trying to reach out to teachers to learn about their induction experiences, and I think a lot of them might be on Pinterest. My weakest social media platform!
It seems like you cannot meet people on Pinterest. Am I wrong? Also, where do educators hang out?

Thanks so much!

Patrick
patrick@teahousesocial.comPatrick O'Brienhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02156819803036380697noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8943861818254304964.post-1037093463321067402012-04-17T17:38:03.604-04:002012-04-17T17:38:03.604-04:00See, I told you there was an easier way..............See, I told you there was an easier way...........

It took less than 30 minutes for Heather to show me :)

Now, would someone tell me how to put a back link from Nook and then my life would be complete?Elizabethhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07786531176109759149noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8943861818254304964.post-37295725829876329472012-04-17T17:31:28.216-04:002012-04-17T17:31:28.216-04:00It certainly is handy to pin wherever and whenever...It certainly is handy to pin wherever and whenever. I got directions (and the text to paste) directly from the pinterest site last summer but I don't know if it is still there since I haven't needed it again.

I'm sure a lot of people will find your post very helpful :-)Heather Temskehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14267490170640702104noreply@blogger.com
