Day in Reverse?

Do you ever have one of those days that you wish you could start over?

Well, today was the kind of day I wish I could have started in reverse.

The day was just plain on blah until this afternoon.  If it had started like the afternoon did, then maybe I wouldn't have been such a meanie would have been a more pleasant person to be around this morning.

Here's how the day ended...that's the part you will want to read about {not the beginning}.

I had road patrol today.  Do ANY of you out there have to do that?  Direct traffic?  I'm curious if I'm alone in this endeavor.  Seriously.  That would make for an interesting linky...hummmm.

It was hot- H.O.T.- hot.  It's April, people.  Come on, already.

At the end of the line (30+ minutes of directing cars later) one of my former parents drives by with his arm out the window holding this:

Awesome.

Blah day just got 10X better.

But, wait...........there's more.

I get home to this:

Yay! First, I opened the brown box thinking that it was my win from the Teacher Blogger Exchange...it was!

Beautiful :)  Next, I opened the Birchbox...YES!  I said, "Birchbox".  My very first one...I was so excited...my son just didn't "get it".  My daughter is still at school {until 7:00 tonight for drama...that's late!}.

Now-if you are a Birchbox receiver and you don't want a spoiler alert then this is where you scroll

Very

Quickly

Down the Page.........................................  Go now  ...............................................................................

So many wonderful things inside.  I had these products:

Befine Skincare Sampler
Color Club Nail polish (look below)
Juicy Couture perfume sample {which I'm giving to my daughter because I'm VERY sensitive to smell...headaches}
June Jacobs Perfect Pumpkin Enzyme Polish and....
Show Stoppers Designer Fashion Tape {you know, to keep straps from showing}.

I'm so excited to try everything...except the perfume.

This is why I should have started the day in reverse:

Do you see the perfect match?  I could have had my "toes-did" in that color this morning and it would have completely changed my whole attitude.

It sure has changed it now :)

I'd show you a picture of my toes.....but, I hate feet.

....................................................Welcome Back Birchbox Folks...............................................................

Do you ever have days like this?  Tell me that you do even if you have to lie.

Tomorrow will be better.

  4. I hate feet too!

This was my first Birchbox too! I loooove the toenail polish. It is so bright and fun.

I thought about taking a picture of the cuteness and posting it too.

But I felt the same way!

  5. Just stumbled onto your blog from pinterest. I don't mind other people's feet, much but I hate my own feet. I wear Keens in the summer to keep my ugly toes covered. I have those days too, usually due to my own lack of planning or not enough sleep. I had a parent who delivered frozen coffees one year when we had a heat wave. She will forever remain dear to my heart. Nice blog, I'll be back
